Australia has a rich and diverse range of beautiful and intriguing wildlife. Furthermore, being an Island Continent many of these species are strangely unique to this land. Martin Willis has set about to capture the essence and beauty of this diverse wildlife and bring it to you in a format you can view and enjoy from the comfort of your own home or workplace.

Originally from country Western Australia, Martin grew up roaming the Australian bush and developed a passion for birds and other forms of wildlife from a very early age.  Later a career as an Art and Photography teacher saw Martin combine his artistic talents and love for wildlife to produce the Wildlife Images presented on this website. 

Martin shoots digital with professional Canon lenses and bodies and uses the latest computer technology to ensure the images are presented to the public in their most visually appealing form. Apart from the high technical quality, what sets these images apart from those of other wildlife photographers is a sensitive and artistic approach to the subject. The resultant bright, contemporary wildlife photographs are suitable for the most modern decor of office, lounge, vestibule or home and make the perfect gift for Birthdays, Engagements, Weddings and other formal occasions.

FOCUS: The Natural environment is critically threatened throughout the world.  Australia is no exception, in fact habitat is being destroyed and species made extinct at an alarming rate. By making these images available direct to the public Martin hopes to raise public awareness to the beauty and fragility of our wildlife heritage.

 

 

LOCATION: MartinWillis PHOTOGRAPHS as a business is located in Northern Queensland but wildlife images are shot in habitats throughout Australia.

 

 

PUBLISHED IMAGES: Martin has had many photographs of Australian birds and wildlife published in journals, books, advertising brochures, posters, calendars and stamp booklets. For many years Martin contributed to Nature Focus, the photographic agency for the Australian Nature Museum. He now provides images for publication to Steve Parish Publishing Pty Ltd and the ANT Photo library www.antphoto.com.au/
