Grasswrens
The endemic Australian grasswrens are small birds with a big reputation. The 16 species of the genus amytoris are somewhat of a mystery. They live in remote usually arid areas, they’re elusive, small and have well-camouflaged plumage and a very soft call all of which helps to make them very difficult to detect and a fascinating challenge for bird enthusiasts.
