Aepyprymnus rufescens. Also called rufous rat-kangaroo, it is a small, jumping, rat-like marsupial native to eastern Australia. It is the only species in the genus Aepyprymnus. About the size of a rabbit it is the largest member of the potoroo/bettong family.
